Something that always bothers me when watching Downton Abbey is that Mary has super dark brown eyes when her parents and grandparents have blue eyes. Edith has sort of hazel eyes, so I always just mumble about a genetic mutation and whatnot, then Sybil has bright blue eyes… and then there’s black-as-shark-eyes-Mary. I know that technically there are genetic exceptions to every rule… and the Mednel Punnet squares are sooooo oversimplified… but still… why can’t things ever be simple on this show?
Downton Sixbey… enough to hold me over till S3 of Downton Abbey? Maybe.

I got my Downton Abbey S2 DVDs yesterday and marathoned the last couple episodes and the Christmas Special.
Now I can FINALLY look at the Downton Abbey Tumblr tags! Squeeeeee!
