I can’t be the only anxiety ridden, paranoid person on Tumblr who saw these gif images and immediately thought “OMG WHAT IF THE CLAW HAD MALFUNCTIONED AND TRAGICALLY SQUISHED HIM UNDER THE T.A.R.D.I.S.” I shouldn’t be allowed to know how the things I watch on my TV are made in real life.

I’ve been slaving away long days and endless nights on this portrait series and today I finally get to debut my hard work. In fact, I am going to open a gallery show this summer containing works like this which I expect you all to attend. For now, though, prints of my crowning achievement are available in my sexy new shop (my old shop couldn’t handle it.) If you don’t buy the entire set I can only assume you don’t appreciate true beauty.
We’re expecting a baby due in August! Which is exciting, although, there are some things that make me question if I’m mentally adult enough for this big change. For example:
1) The first thing I searched for on the internet when we found out I was pregnant was “pregnant cosplay” because I needed to figure out a costume I could wear at 8 months pregnant for Comic Con. I have one day figured out…. suggestions welcome.
2) When we found out it was a boy, I told my husband that we could now refer to our baby as “Stormageddon, dark lord of all.” We’ve started referring to the baby as “Stormy.”
3) The first thing I added to our baby registry was a baby R2D2 Costume. Followed by a baby duck costume… because that is what babies should wear.
Never fear, we’ve signed up for baby classes which will teach us things about the proper care and maintenance of miniature humans. I expect to be enlightened.
